"Sea Glass" was inspired by finding a small piece of blue sea glass on a beach in Montauk, NY. A theme developed around the story that each piece could hold. Where did that piece come from? How did it get here? The analogy of a piece of sea glass representing human experiences came to mind—an exploration of how all of our lives take an unforeseen course and how beautiful and interesting it is to see how our paths may cross and where we end up.
